The Braithwaites are the behind-the-scenes force that keeps Fat City running. From the beginning, Shannon's parents and sisters have been coming out to take care of the admission, concession, cleanup and many emotional and psychological breakdowns! Even now, with a new host of volunteers, the Braithwaites remain the most faithful helpers in the proverbial "City", content to stand at their posts when a birthday jam or a Shim Sham calls all other volunteers to the dance floor. Not that they don't dance; in fact, you can often see Fat City's favourite dad, Mr. 'B' himself, leading his lovely wife or one of his daughters out onto the dance floor. Mr. and Mrs. 'B', Nicole, and Kim will always have a special place here at Fat City, and we are all grateful to them for letting us, in some small way, feel a part of their family.
