Councilor/Volunteer 

In her first week at university, Veronica was mocked by her fellow engineering students, for she certainly did not fit the profile, with her pretty shoes and her failure to pick up on jokes and her massive purse that she could likely use as a sleeping bag. But that is why we all love Veronica. She came to Fat City with a great group of young people who all seemed to be related in some way, but from the beginning she has stood out as one of the most devoted of this crowd of Fat City dancers. Even now, though she lives out in Burnaby and juggles a difficult school schedule, a full social calendar, and a university Ultimate league, she still makes a point of coming to Fat City as frequently as she can and helping out wherever she's needed. (Yes, another of these crazy disc-throwing Ultimate athletes: it seems Ultimate and swing go hand in hand for an impressive number of our dancers.)
