Years ago, a bright-eyed Pakistani boy set out on a search for knowledge and higher education. Miraculously, as the names of renowned cities and schools sailed before his eyes, young Omer found his way to the glittering hub of culture and commerce that is Langley. His tentative entrance into Canadian society had him cast as the shy immigrant kid quietly taking notes in class at Trinity Western University, but soon he was throwing huge parties and learning to dance. Fat City Swing was his baby from the very start, and to this day he invests an almost disturbing amount of time, effort and money into this place. Perhaps one of the truest gourmets to dwell in this fast-food-infested, family-restaurant-oriented chunk of suburbia, Omer is rumoured to make an ambrosial crème brûlée, but these stories are largely held in skepticism due to fact that so few have had the opportunity to sample said dessert.
