DJ Hepcat

A seasoned traveler on the great disc-spinning highway, DJ ‘Hepcat' Jose is no stranger to the Vancouver swing circuit. His resume is long but distinguished, with popular gigs at such respected venues as the Legion, SFU, Polish Center, and North Shore Swing to name a few. With his distinct style and vast musical arsenal, DJ Jose is a bona fide crowd pleaser, never above breaking up his set to cater to a song request. He has been introducing "The Omer and Shannon Show" at Fat City since before most of our council members even started dancing - but don't let that make you think he's at all past his prime! Though he is now joined at the DJ booth by Omer, Benedict, and various guest DJs, anybody who has been to Fat City knows Jose's smooth voice, welcoming chuckle, and great tunes. It is truly an honour to have this fountain of musical knowledge lining up the tracks at Fat City!
